According to the News Democrat, the Bethel School District is planning to send a survey this fall to the surrounding district to see how parents and students feel about the district, and what ideas they may have.

The survey will be approximately 2 pages long with questions ranging from:

  • Education - with the Board of Education and staff
  • Security
  • Administration
  • Open Comments

Comments concerning administration or teachers will be communicated so improvements can be made. Questions of security likely follow issues such as violence in schools rather than the protection of private data of students and staff. As of yet, these issues have not enacted enough of a response to be included in a survey of this sort.

The District is initiating the first community survey in Bethel; an initiative which reflects well on them. By being socially responsible, Bethel School District not only gain favor with the community, but also gain valuable data to improve the overall education program.
