If (and this is a fairly big if, but still) the 3 per cent to 10 per cent figure holds up across other industries, it could come close to equaling the $700 billion stimulus package for the financial industry. If our economies weren't being leeched so badly by fraudsters, the economic downturn would not be quite so bad, at least for us folks working in legitimate enterprises.
