The US Secret Service has exposed an International ID theft ring responsible for more than $14 million in fraud losses.

An undercover operation was undertaken to study an online criminal, “Lord Kaisersose”, known to be associated with ID theft and financial fraud. Based on the information provided by the Secret Service, French National Police arrested 4 people (including “Lord Kaisersose”) for online fraud charges on June 12. Investigators found more than 28,000 stolen credit & bank card numbers, .

A separate operation exposed a stolen credit card sales operation in Canada and France, which led to an additional two arrests and $1 million in fraud losses. 100 credit card skimmers, which steal credit card information when swiped, were recovered.
